Beyond Air (NASDAQ: XAIR), formerly AIT Therapeutics (renamed June 2019), is a commercial-stage medical device and biopharmaceutical company headquartered in Garden City, New York, focused on harnessing the power of nitric oxide (NO) to treat respiratory and other diseases. Its LungFit platform is a cylinder-free, on-demand NO generation and delivery system; LungFit PH is FDA-approved for persistent pulmonary hypertension of the newborn, and the company is developing LungFit GO and related programs for other respiratory indications. Its Beyond Cancer subsidiary is evaluating bronchoscopic NO delivery for lung cancer (Phase 1 UNO trial updated at AACR 2026). In July 2026 Beyond Air announced an up-to-$30.1M private placement priced at-the-market under Nasdaq rules and implemented a reverse stock split to maintain listing; Robert Goodman was appointed CEO in March 2026 following Steve Lisi's resignation.
