Fortress Biotech (NASDAQ: FBIO) is a biopharmaceutical company that acquires, develops, and commercializes pharmaceutical and biotechnology products, established in 2013 by Dr. Lindsay A. Rosenwald. Fortress and most of its subsidiaries are headquartered in Bay Harbor Islands, Florida. The company operates a portfolio model across subsidiary companies including Journey Medical (dermatology), Avenue Therapeutics, Mustang Bio, and Urica Therapeutics; on July 27, 2026 Fortress and subsidiary Urica Therapeutics announced that their joint venture Crystalys Therapeutics closed a $130M Series B financing. The company also holds royalty and cash-flow assets that analysts have noted can exceed its market capitalization. Dr. Rosenwald has served as Chairman, President and CEO since December 2013.
