Outset Medical

Outset Medical is a San Jose, California-based medical technology company commercializing the Tablo Hemodialysis System, a compact all-in-one dialysis console that integrates water purification, on-demand dialysate production and cloud connectivity so that treatment can be delivered from the hospital setting to the home. The company was incorporated in 2003 as Home Dialysis Plus, Ltd., renamed Outset Medical in January 2015 and listed on Nasdaq in September 2020. Its installed base spans more than 1,000 U.S. healthcare facilities, and its commercial model combines Tablo console placements with recurring revenue from Tablo cartridges and other consumables, plus the Tablo Data Ecosystem (TabloHub, MyTablo and TabloDash). Outset signed a three-year agreement with HCA Healthcare in June 2026 covering a fleet refresh of Tablo systems with an aggregate contract value of approximately $40 million through 2028, and guided to $125-130 million of full-year 2026 revenue alongside a Q2 2026 gross margin of 42.0%.
